My name is Jere Kubuske. This is my 13th year of teaching and my 6th year at Cathedral High School. This year I’m honored to be serving our staff and students as Vice Principal. Most recently, I taught Honors Biology as well as serving as the Science Department Chair, & the School’s Data Coordinator. Prior to working at Cathedral I was a Biology teacher and the Pathfinders Academy Leader at the Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center in Wayne Township, a Defensive Backs Coach and Lifetime Fitness Instructor at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, and a Biology and Integrated Science teacher at Tuscarawas Valley High School in Ohio.
I earned my my undergraduate degree in Adolescent/ Young Adult Education at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. While at Walsh, I was a 3 year letterman for the Cavaliers Football team and a part of the school’s first Football Conference Championship. I earned my first Master’s degree in Sport Studies from Bemidji State University, then continued my education at the University of Indianapolis earning a graduate degree in Educational Leadership.
I have been very involved in athletics and coaching as a part of the Cathedral Irish varsity football coaching staff working with Outside Linebackers.
